Intro Lafayette is an intensive, one-day civic leadership training program designed to benefit local businesses and our community by helping to activate a strong network of knowledgeable, engaged citizens. This program provides local leaders with a deep understanding of our region and connections to the key people and organizations that are working to impart positive change for our community.

Our first Intro Lafayette session of the year will be held at the Acadiana Center for the Arts.

Registration is $300 for the single-day session. LIA Members receive a discounted rate of $275.

Intro Lafayette programming includes presentations, discussions, tours, and activities where participants will have the opportunity to hear from local business, civic and community leaders on the past, present and future potential of our region.

What to Expect:

This program hosts several knowledgeable guest speakers throughout the day, concluding with a Downtown Walking Tour and Debrief. The session topics often include: Local Government, Economic Development, Education, A Brief History of Lafayette, and more.

The day will include light breakfast and coffee, and lunch.
